*No Seasoning* from a new perspective.

At Copperbridge Foundation, curator Elvia Rosa Castro will join us for an open conversation about the exhibition—its curatorial process, the stories that shape it, and the voices that emerge from the world of *outsider art*.

More than a walkthrough, this gathering invites us to approach art through the human experiences that give rise to it—where creativity, identity, and lived experience exist beyond traditional art circuits.

Join us for a morning of dialogue, reflection, and community.

Since 1988, NAEMI has worked with artists operating outside traditional circuits—many of whom come from mental health backgrounds, where art emerges as a way to express that which cannot always be put into words.

Over the years, they have developed exhibitions, publications, and programs that have brought these works to museums and galleries across the United States, Europe, and Latin America, building a collection of nearly 1,300 pieces.

As part of No Seasoning, this collaboration with NAEMI grows from a broader intention to open up the conversation around outsider art—not as a category, but as a living practice.

Copperbridge Foundation continuous our ongoing programming on April 10th with an evening of film and conversation with the organization’s founders.

My good friend George Neary came by the Copper Bridge Foundation to hand-deliver the Miami Herald Sunday edition, bringing us the front-page review of “No Seasoning,” an Afro-Cuban descendant exhibit curated by Elvia Rosa Castro. This powerful exhibit will be open through May. Please visit online to see all the special programming we have planned. A huge thank you to the Miami Herald, and a special thanks to Miguel Sirgado for this wonderful article!

Inside No Seasoning

This Friday, March 13th | 10 AM – 12 PM, we invite you to step inside the exhibition

📆 Friday, March 13th, 2026.
⏱️ 10 AM – 12 PM
📍 Copperbridge Foundation, 12500 NE 4th Ave, North Miami, FL.

RSVP recommended. 🔗 Link in bio.
