Patrick Oleso is a born and raised South Floridian artist with Norwegian and Midwestern roots. He is interested in the adventurous and storytelling aspects of mark-making, while exploring interests/experiences through mixed media. Currently he has a studio at the Bakehouse Art Complex and also works as the Head Preparator/ Main helping hand for 7 going on 8 years. Oleson’s involvement with not-for-profit organizations has led to expanding work to community based projects. The exhibited works have been in shows such as “New World North West” at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center, “Etcetera” at Mana Contemporary spaces, “Paint Me Miami”, “Where the Land is Free” at the Bakehouse Art Complex, “Gravity Hustle” at Mindy Solomons Gallery, “Miami University Young Painters Competition 2020” at Hiestand Galleries (Oxford,Ohio).
