Ross LeClair joined The Joyce Theater as a producer in 2016. In his role managing Joyce Theater-Productions, he has produced works for dance artists such as Maria Kochetkova, Wendy Whelan, Ohad Naharin, Mats Ek, James Whiteside, Sonya Tayeh, and maintains a consistent producing relationship with Havana’s Malpaso Dance Company and Ronald K. Brown/Evidence A Dance Company. Most recently, Ross produced The Joyce’s revival of Molissa Fenley’s State of Darkness, which was the first ticketed, live-streamed engagement from The Joyce stage since the beginning of the pandemic. He is an active member of the Dance/USA Presenters Council and has spoken at the Shanghai International Arts Festival and NYU’s Translucent Borders workshop in Abu Dhabi. Ross graduated from New York University with a BFA in Dance (Tisch) and a BA in Journalism (CAS). Prior to joining The Joyce, he worked in various roles at NBC News, including as a field producer for CNBC.
