A Visual Code (Art Exhibit)

You are invited to the opening reception of “A Visual Code” (Art Exhibit). Drawing inspiration from the upcoming Art Deco and Modernism Week, we present 21 esteemed Latin Artists in North Miami.
The exhibit “A Visual Code” commemorates Architectural month with the works of 21 International artists, working in different mediums representing their view of modernism and architecture. Panel discussions will connect YOU, the audience and unlock the Visual Code. Partnerships include the Miami Design Preservation League, Miami Center for Architecture & Design, and the AIA Miami.

About the Exhibit

An exhibition in which the idea of featuring Works somehow related to these styles that drastically affected the entire twenty-century, and continues to affect us today, leaves a lot more material to explore. This is just an encapsulated sample of what can be discovered. In this exhibit, while some artists pay homage to Art Deco and Modernism magnificence, others take it as a linguistic alibi to depict alienation and social differences.

Art Deco and Modernism are everywhere! Whether in the shape of architecture, interior design, fashion, filming, industrial design, and visual or graphic arts, we are wrapped by its patterns.
