Coming from a long line of photo journalists and photography aficionados , Alejandro P.
Balseiro was born with a camera in his hand and a keen eye for what others didn’t care to see.
Been raised in the north coast of Colombia, immersed in a land full magical realism, left an
indelible mark that has followed him since birth.
After fulfilling the family duty of graduating from law school AP Balseiro embarked in as many
photography workshops and courses he could find in his native Colombia, America and
France, trying to follow the footsteps of his heroes Cartier-bresson, Robert Frank And Fan Ho.
The MedDeco series was born by the suggestion of his Dear Friend and mentor Geo Darder
and their mutual love for Architecture and the City of Medellin
