Fábrica de Arte Cubano (“FAC”), is a culturally progressive non-governmental art collective run by X Alfonso, one of Cuba’s most well-known and respected musicians. We first started inviting our travel groups to take part in FAC event in various venues, and have since received such support for the project that they have acquired their own space at a factory where many artists of many genres share their works with the public.
Fabrica de Arte Cubano is now a multi-faceted venue – a gallery, bar, dance club,and performance setting, blending all facets of arts into one creative space. FAC was recently featured in the New York Times and on Anthony Bourdain’s award-winning travelogue, Parts Unknown: Cuba revealing the best ways to experience Havana.
