No Seasoning: Afro-Descendant Cuban Outsider Artists

The exhibition brings together the work of seven Afro-descendant Cuban Outsider Artists whose practices exist beyond institutional frameworks and dominant cultural narratives.

Curated by Elvia Rosa Castro, No Seasoning is made possible with the support of NOEMI, whose collaboration has facilitated the utilization and presentation of the artists’ works, enabling their visibility within this context.

The exhibition highlights the overlapping stigmas these artists face: racial discrimination and systemic exclusion rooted in social and cultural marginalization. Through collage, drawing, sculpture, and photography, No Seasoning reveals a raw and deeply human visual language—one that resists stereotypes and invites presence rather than interpretation.

The exhibition proposes an unfamiliar scenario, where art is not adjusted or refined, but offered as it is: urgent, resilient, and profoundly alive.

Featured Artists

• Pedro Pablo Bacallao

• Gloria de la Caridad

• Misleidys Castillo

• Isaac Crespo

• Daldo Marte

Copperbridge Foundation is more than a gallery—it is a place of encounter. A space where cultures meet, stories cross, and art reminds us of our shared humanity. We invite you to experience an immersive journey where borders fade and creativity becomes a bridge between worlds.

Our exhibitions honor the strength and sensitivity of Latin American and Caribbean talent, weaving narratives of identity, memory, and possibility. Through photography, sculpture, and participatory installations, each work opens a door to deeper conversations about who we are and where we are headed.

Come to North Miami. Come to share, to feel, to discover. Here, art becomes the language that connects us all.
