Noche de Cuentos presents Elvia Perez Nápoles as part of Copper Fest in San Juan, Puerto Rico

Noche de Cuentos (www.nochedecuentos.org) is a REFORMA national literacy initiative created with the purpose of preserving and promoting the oral traditions of our Latino communities in the United States.  Another important goal of this initiative is to create bridges of communication between storytellers in Latin America and their counterparts in the US.  NOCHE is held at REFORMA National Conferences and annually at the Conference of the American Library Association showcasing Latino tellers to national audiences.

Elvia Perez Nápoles will be the night’s featured international teller.  There will also be storytellers from Puerto Rico and the US.
