September 8, 2014 – Creation & Restoration Art Lecture with Nicomedes Diaz Dijon, a renowned Religious Art restorer in Cuba and one of the artists of the Madre de todos los Cubanos Art Exhibit.
Díaz was commissioned by the Bishop of the Church of Barajagua to recreate the image of La Caridad del Cobre – The same church where the first image of the Virgin was placed when it was found at the Bay of Nipe in 1612.
