Art Nouveau Association Buenos Aires (AANBA) Our philosophy and action are aimed at the revaluation of Art Nouveau architecture by providing the necessary support for the enhancement of buildings of great heritage value and their revaluation. With great repercussion and support from the press we have carried out the search and evaluation of the buildings that need our support and interaction work and then carry out the following actions: Actions and the necessary framework With actions – strength: such as photography, publications and videos, call to the press, public events in the building, support from the corresponding institutions, appointment as a prominent or emblematic building. Through presentations and galas in embassies and in national areas (National Congress, Ministry of Culture, Teatro Colón, etc.) and other actions, we thus achieve the necessary and essential framework to support and achieve the start of the value enhancement works and restoration of great Argentine icons such as the Calise building. In addition, we reward and highlight the recovery of buildings and many other national and international activities to put in the public imagination the valuable Art Nouveau heritage and buildings of the early twentieth century, with initiatives such as: • The Argentine Art Nouveau Route (with 6 member cities) • International Art Nouveau meetings (heritage and tourism) • BArt-Nouveau EXPO (architectural and decorative arts) • Art Nouveau trips to cities of the Route (with annual calendar) • Search and revaluation of this heritage with own research • Publications, DVDs and maps-guides with tourist circuits Today the Confectionery of the Mill summons us, to impel the soon beginning of the works and the follow-up of its patrimonial recovery.
