Detrás del muro / Behind the WalI is an art project composed of art installations by Cuban and international artists along the famous Malecón (boardwalk) of Havana. The project was inaugurated during the 11th Havana Biennial and became one of the most highly anticipated installations for the 12th and 13th Biennials. It is the inspiration for the documentary film and books. Curated by Juanito Delgado and co-produced by Copperbridge Foundation, it is one of the most important and impactful projects we support. For this webinar, we will watch the film trailer together and then engage in dialogue with the curator and some of the participating artists. Links to watch the full documentary and purchase the books will be made available to attendees prior to the webinar.

This Webinar is an opportunity to get a better understanding of the world of Contemporary Cuban Visual Art as explained by one of Cuba’s top art curators and creator of the Detrás del muro art installation.
