It’s been named Cuba’s best kept secret!  The small town of Gibara becomes a hot cultural hub as it hosts the International Film Festival, formerly known as Cine Pobre (Poor Cinema) recognizing the creativity and artistry of low-budget filmmakers.  The festival involves live performances, art exhibits, and panels on film. Local artists, the people of Gibara, film stars, and fishermen alike are eagerly anticipating your arrival to share common interests, have dialogue, dance, and enjoy a cafecito together!
