Friday night at exhibit opening at The Copper was very well received. Many in attendance were deeply moved by the fascinating—and sometimes misunderstood—art of outsider artists. The exhibit, titled “No Seasoning,” curated by Elvia Rosa Castro, features seven Afro-Cuban descendant artists and touches on sensitive issues associate with these artists . We look forward to future programming during the exhibit’s run, which will continue over the next several weeks.

The preview night of “No Seasoning” at The Copper, in partnership with the Association of Haitian Educators of Dade County (AHED), was incredible. Over 150 educators, parents, and students joined us. We also had the honor of welcoming three district council members from North Miami: Mary Estime- Irvin District 3, Kevin Burns District 1 and Pierre F Charles District 3 and FIU’s Meme Ferre from the Maurice Ferre Institute on Civic Leadership and Agatha Caraballo in attendance. It was truly a special evening!

It’s tonight.

No Seasoning opens this evening at Copperbridge Foundation — and it is already part of South Florida’s cultural conversation with a review by Miguel Sirgado in Artburst.

When a platform like Artburst takes notice, we know that what is happening here in North Miami is resonating beyond our walls.

Join us tonight,
February 27 | 7:00 PM
Copperbridge Foundation
12500 NE 4th Ave, North Miami

Come experience the exhibition.

See you tonight.
