Architecture & Design 2020

 March 18-22, 2020
4-night Program

This program is designed to learn about Cuba’s rich architectural history, meet Havana’s architects and designers, and engage in the newly-formed design cooperative. We will visit their projects including paladars (restaurants), boutique hotels, and cultural centers that are all privately owned.
We will have discussions with students and architects about the daily struggles of working with limited materials and strict regulations. These dialogues will allow the possibility of new partnerships to create and collaborate in future projects and further support the Cuban people.
